Ingredients: Refined Wheat Flour, Skimmed Milk Powder, Vegetable Fat, Citric Acid & Baking Soda. To Make Gulab Jamun: 1.Add portion of water little by little to 1 portion of Jayruka Gulab Jamun Mix and make a smooth dough. Use only fingers (not Palm) to make the dough — do not apply pressure. 2.Keep it covered for 5 minutes. 3.Smear little oil in your hands and shape the dough into round balls. (Around 40 numbers with this pack) 4.Heat oil in a kadai in slow fire and fry the balls in low heat till they are golden brown. 5.Put the fried balls on a tissue paper to remove excess oil. Then put these balls into HOT sugar syrup when the balls are still hot. Let the jamuns soak up the syrup completely (2hrs) and then serve. Procedure to make sugar syrup: For this pack, heat 800 gms of sugar and equal amount of water. After the sugar dissolves, boil for 5 minutes in High heat till you get syrup of sticky consistency. Add a tea spoon of Cardamom powder and 1/4 teaspoon of Rose water. Tips For Beginners For extra softness, instead of water fresh curd can be used. Do not make tight dough because if gluten forms jamuns will be very hard. When to drop the balls into the oil: take a tiny part of dough and drop into the hot oil, It should get fried and float to the top of the oil surface.
